Thomas previously worked for state governors and Palo Alto Networks on the most critical cybersecurity issues facing the nation. Join us at the Utah State Capitol for lunch and an engaging forum.

Lead for National Security for State and Local Government at OpenAI
Thomas MacLellan is Lead for National Security for State and Local Government at OpenAI. He brings more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, homeland security, technology policy, and government affairs.
Before joining OpenAI, MacLellan held senior government affairs and strategy roles at Palo Alto Networks, Symantec, and FireEye. He previously spent 16 years at the National Governors Association, where he directed homeland security, technology, and public safety policy, established the NGA Resource Center for State Cybersecurity, and led the Governors Homeland Security Advisors Council. He has served in cybersecurity advisory roles for governors and local leaders and testified before state legislatures.
